Your privacy matters to us. This document explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it in connection with our accounting agency services.
Who We Are
Accountimo is an accounting agency providing professional financial services to businesses. Our website address is available on the agency's official page. For any privacy-related questions, you can reach us by email or through the contact form.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy. After approval, your profile picture is visible to the public alongside your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the site.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for your convenience — these last for one year.
- Visiting the login page sets a temporary cookie to test browser cookie support — it contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
- Logging in sets cookies for your login information (2 days) and screen display options (1 year).
- Selecting "Remember Me" extends your login to 2 weeks. Logging out removes all login cookies.
- Editing or publishing an article saves a cookie with the post ID — no personal data, expires after 1 day.
Embedded Content from Other Websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if you had visited those sites directly.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the content — including if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who We Share Your Data With
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.
How Long We Retain Your Data
Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically rather than holding them in a moderation queue.
For registered users, we store the personal information provided in their profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.
This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where Your Data Is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. All data transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
